British woman calls police but says "pizza"; quick-witted officer saves victim with code words "pepperoni" or "cheese"
A British woman was recently brutally assaulted by her partner. In an emergency, she pretended to order a pizza but actually dialled 999 for help. Thanks to the quick wit of operator Pippa Harvey , who used the code word “pepperoni”, the terrible incident was prevented.
